Michele Talso studied Medicine (2005-2011) and then completed his Urology training (2012-2017) at Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy.
From August 2015 to July 2016 he did his fellowship in Paris, at Tenon Hospital with Professor Olivier Traxer.
He developed a special interest in endourology for stone disease and for conservative treatment of upper urinary tract urothelial tumors.
In February 2018 he concluded a second six months Fellowship in Endourology with the Societè Internationale d’Urologie (S.I.U.) in India, at Nadiad Hospital with Professor Mahesh Desai where are performed nearby 800 – 1000 PCNL per year.
Actually, Michele Talso is working at ASST Vimercate Hospital in Italy, 15 km from Milan.
He is a member of the Young Academic Urologist (Y.A.U.) in the Utolithiasis section.
In Italy he participated as a member of Senato degli Specializzandi di Urologia, representing his University.
He has presented several abstracts and videos at international meetings and has authored peered-review articles. He is official reviewer of different international Journals. He has been invited in many international congresses as Hands on Training Tutor and to perform live surgeries.
