Julien Letendre studied Medecine (2002-2007) and completed his residency training in Urology (2007-2012) at the Université de Montréal in Canada. He then completed a one-year fellowship in endourology at the Tenon Hospital, in Paris (France-2013), along side Professor Olivier Traxer. He developed an expertise in the surgical and medical management of urolithiasis and in the conservative management of upper urinary tract urothelial tumors. He has presented several abstracts and videos at international meetings and has authored peered-review articles and book chapters. He is currently involved in several clinical and basic science research projects both on stones and UTUC.

Julien Letendre now works at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, part of the Université de Montréal, where he is actively involved in teaching surgery and urology at both the pre- and post-graduate levels.
